Ingredients
6 - 7medium to large apples - peeled and sliced
cinnamon to taste
⅓cupbutter at room temperature
⅔cupsbrown sugar - packed
½cupall purpose flour
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 ℉
Grease a 1 ½ quart casserole or 8 x 8 inch oven safe baking dish two thirds full with sliced apples. Generously sprinkle with cinnamon. Do not add any sugar to the apples, since the topping/crust is sweet enough for the whole dessert
Cream butter and brown sugar. Add the flour and rub to a crumbly mixture.
Sprinkle mixture over the apples.
Bake 40 minutes or longer until apples are bubbly.
