4cupsblueberries - farmed or wild or fresh or frozen or a combination
1tbspall-purpose flour
1tspcinnamon
1tspgrated lemon rind
1tbspmaple syrup
1/3cupbutter - soft
2/3cupbrown sugar
2/3cupflour

1/3cupalmonds - chopped
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F (175C)
Mix the berries, lemon rind, cinnamon, and one tablespoon of flour together in a bowl. Put this mixture in a greased 8" square Pyrex glass baking dish. Drizzle the maple syrup over the berry mixture.
Mix the soften butter, flour, and brown sugar together until crumbly. Gently add the chopped almonds, if you're using them. Spread this mixture evenly over the berry mixture.
Bake about 40 minutes, until the topping is golden and the berry mixture is bubbly. Serve warm or cold, with or without ice cream.
