Easter is just around the corner and many dinner hams will grace the family dinner table. This Ham Quiche recipe is a fresh idea for the leftover ham.

Ingredients
19-inch pie crust - unbaked
1cupcooked ham - diced
1cupSwiss cheese - grated
3eggs
1 1/4cupmilk
1dashnutmeg - freshly grated
1dashpepper - freshly ground

1/8tsponion powder
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F (190C)
Sprinkle half the ham over bottom of pie crust. Place half of the cheese in a food processor (or grate with box grater).. Sprinkle over ham. Repeat with remaining ham and cheese.
Place remaining ingredients in food processor or mix vigorously until combined but not foamy. You may stop at this point, and put everything in the fridge to combine just before cooking.
Pour egg/milk mixture into pie shell. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and puffed in the middle.
Remove from the oven, let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
