Hot Fudge Pudding Cake is a recipe that creates a cake on the top and a rich chocolate pudding below.
Ingredients
Cake Base
- ⅔ cup All purpose flour
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 6 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Topping
- ⅔ cup brown sugar - packed
- 1 ⅓ cup hot water
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 ℉
- Mix all Cake Base ingredients. Put into and ungreased 2L (2 quart) casserole.
- Mix brown sugar and 2 tbsp of cocoa; sprinkle on batter. Pour hot water on batter.

- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until sauce is bubbly below and cake test done with cake tester.

- Serve warm. Top with whipped cream or ice cream or milk, if you wish
