I know what you’re thinking, that March is not strawberry season in Canada! You are correct. I truly support our Farmers’ Markets all season long, but right now the snow is preventing them from producing much for sale!
However, this is the height of strawberry season in Florida, and our local grocery store brought them in on sale as well as fresh bunches of spinach.
This Strawberry Spinach Salad with a poppy seed dressing is lovely during anyone’s strawberry season. It has a very fresh taste to it and complements many meals.
Enjoy!

Strawberry Spinach Salad

- 1 tsp poppy seeds
- 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions
- Wash the spinach. Remove the stems and coarse vein by holding the leaf in half and pulling by the stem.

- Wash the strawberries and pat dry. Cut each one into 3 or 4 slices, size-dependent.
